The project consists of a city park, two hotels, three office towers with a podium shopping mall. The site is in Changchun, China, currently under construction.
I was in the design team from SD to DD, and the scope of my work includes concept development, facade and landscape design, digital modeling (Rhino&Grasshopper), diagram drawing and model making. The concept is overlapping existing urban fabrics that derived from Changchun, and integrate the design with the surrounding context while achieving a standing-out effect as a landmark for the city. The aspects of climate and circulation were well-considered during the design.
