It is a small-scale renovation project on an abandoned village house in Jiangxi, China. Following the local government policy, this village will be gentrified to a rural resort. The design approach is to keep the original house and extend its profile with timber frames to provide a public space in the village, featuring playground, performance area, and tea area.
